Hey everyone!
I've got to give a huge shout-out to the team over at WeatherWool for crafting the most hardcore, top-of-the-line wool outdoor gear out there! I'm absolutely pumped to put their Pancho to the test in Alaska next month looking for Mountain Grizzly's to Photograph for a client. Trust me, it's going to be epic!
Now, let me fill you in on some exciting updates from my recent trip to #Idaho. I met up with Athena Tactics in Boise to explore a potential collaboration, started the initial phases of running a few of my online programs for #Europeans this fall! But that's not all! I've got two incredible five-part online classes lined up, starting with bone tools and jewelry this Saturday night from 4 to 6 PM Pacific, followed by Awareness: The Way of the Caretaker on Sunday at the same time. And guess what? There's a sweet 25% off sale happening until the start of each class. Don't miss out—head over to my website for all the details.
I'm on the lookout for a few more apprentices who are eager to dive into one-on-one online or in-person class sessions. Since most content I post on Facebook or Instagram doesn't get seen by anybody due to the hack that happened, which sadly just happened to a fly fishing business. Literally the same exact thing happened, and a lot more money was taken. I love creating videos, and the more of you who become members of my Patreon, the more I can dedicate to producing high-quality content. Plus, Patreon members will soon have exclusive access to special content on my website. But wait, there's more! I'm in the process of designing a six-month-long online, and in person classes!
On a personal note, I'll admit, I'm feeling a bit worn out. The only thing that could truly give me the space and time I need to rest and rejuvenate is wining the lottery. Otherwise, it's back to the grind. You see, I'm all in on this journey, just like my father, who jokes about teaching until he vanishes like a Jedi mid-class. I'm dedicated to this vision, but here's the kicker—I'm not a business whiz. I'm an educator, storyteller, ancient skills teacher, and a passionate photographer and videographer. So, I'm reaching out to anyone interested in partnering up to help me turn this dream into a reality. Whether it's through investment, a skills trade, or even a generous donation of a four-wheel-drive van/RV from @winnnabegp (pretty please!), together, we can make magic happen!
Alright, it's 10:30 PM here, and my stomach is growling. Time to grab some food! Wishing you all a good night and good luck!
The Fact Of The Matter Is The Matter of Fact
Before getting into my Story, I wanted to mention some schedule changes.I have moved the start dates of the five-part Online Nature Photography and the five-part Awareness online classes to pick up a few more students. The 25% off Sale is still usable and will be applied at checkout!
All that i am is now.-Stalking wolf
I remember from 40+ years ago, back on the original Tracker farm. I was walking with my dad, and he was doing his usual coyote lessons. Eventually, we encountered an Artist Conch mushroom that had fallen off a tree. For those not familiar, they are the flat mushrooms that grow on the sides of trees. They call this species “The artist fungus” because it stays darker when you take your finger and make a line on it. We both sat on the ground, and I vividly remember him grasping my left hand and using my index finger as a pen; he helped me write my name. On that day 40 years ago, I knew I was meant to follow in my father’s footsteps, learning as he learned. Then, one day, I would start teaching after I put in enough dirt time.
Unfortunately, my parents divorced, and I moved to suburbia.
For the next 15 years, I suffered from Nature Deficit Disorder. After losing my connection, I slowly went downhill, trying to find things to fill the void, which eventually led me to become an opiate addict.
After some cherished friends saved my life and cleaned me up from the poisons I was putting in my body, my father started to ask me, “So when are you going to come back and teach?” I would always brush it off. Like my father before me, I started traveling to test my skills in many different urban and wilderness environments I learned as a child because I knew I would return and teach one day, but I felt I needed more experience. About three years into my trip, my grandfather passed away, and when I was home for the funeral, my father posed the question again, "When are you going to quit being a dirty hippy and come start teaching?" Shortly after returning to the road, I received two omens so blatant that it was as if creation collectively smacked me upside the head and said now was the time. So, in April of 2000, I returned and started teaching. I think next week will be 24 years that I have been “professionally” teaching, although I’ve been doing it my entire life in one form or another.
I spent the next nine years starting at the bottom and eventually working my way up to becoming the head instructor and Director. As much as I love my father, stepmother, brothers, and sisters, the pine barrens, Cedar swamps, and grandmother Atlantic, my vision was telling me that I needed to go out on my own for a while to find my own stories, transforming into my person, responsible for my face and not just a clone of my father, over the next 15 years that I’ve been away. I opened a small school called the Primitive Arts Collective. I was primarily teaching individuals and small groups across the country. I had no lack of students because everybody still remembered me from working with my father. I had waiting lists for classes and got so burned out that eventually, I ended up in Florida with my soulmate. Even though we are no longer together, I would do anything for her because she taught me how to be human. She taught me about emotions and that there was more than just anger, anxiety, or elation. Legally, you become an adult at 18 years old. Still, I did not become an adult until my mid-30s because of the patience, kindness, love, and understanding of the most wonderful person on Earth. I will eternally be grateful for everything she did to help me become who I am today.
After taking a year's sabbatical and living in Florida, we received an offer that was too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that are too good to be true! A friend approached me and asked if I could gather three other people who wanted to start a nonprofit outdoor education facility west of Washington, DC, on a 115-acre farm. So Lisa and I convinced our friends, Kevin and McNeill, to join us in transforming a beautiful but uncared-for and overgrown farm. Over the next two years, countless hours were spent at zoning board meetings, arguing with town officials about how our driveway needed to be 4 inches wider. It cost the nonprofit $30,000 because they said an ambulance could not get up the driveway when it was perfectly paved. I said, "Sir, I drove ambulances for three years, and I could drive an ambulance up this driveway blindfolded and not go off the road." Anyway, some signals got crossed at some point, and all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears we put into that place evaporated. As things were nearing an end, I had been talking a lot with my good friend Tony, who would become my next employer and also just so happened to be my first customer in 2009 after I left working at Tracker school.
From the moment I met him, I knew he was a special individual with many unique gifts. He possesses the ancient skills we teach and understands how to do business. By combining the two, he has built a business that gets more kids in the woods yearly than any other school I know. I will forever be thankful for all I learned during my 5 1/2 years as Director of Adult programming and Land steward. Even though we don’t work together anymore, Tony still helps me navigate the entrepreneurship world. My original vision for FutureNature involved eventually reaching a day where I could teach for free. I am still invested in that vision, but there’s a long road between here and there.
As many of you know, Last week, I suffered the loss of my dog, Kora. Kora was my steadfast companion for 17 1/2 years. I would have to leave her at home when I was teaching, and she would get super excited. One interesting fact I will share is that I have a security camera in my house. It's motion sensitive, so anytime. It detects movement; I get an alert on my phone. Precisely 20 minutes before returning home, I would get a notification! You could set a watch by it! That’s how deeply connected we were. I have spent long periods alone but have never been as lonely. Now that she is physically gone, I know the feeling well. I have been in Oregon for seven years, and for the past two years, I’ve been trying to build and grow my two businesses: FutureNature and T3Photography.
After partying with my previous teaching position, I promised myself I would never again have bosses other than Nature and my students. Over a few months, I went from living the best quarter of my life to having things be smashed to bits. Hindsight is always 20/20, and I can see my mistakes over the last two years. Luckily, I know one of the most important things in life is to learn from your mistakes, for they are your most important teacher. Just like where there is life, there is death; where there is failure, there is also success. In two years, I have learned more about business than I ever cared to. Now, I have suffered through having my identity stolen and relished the times I could gather people together for classes. In the last two years, I have:
I have linked up with several local organizations I will be running programs with, such as the class I co-teaching with Cascadia Wild in July.
I learned all those business skills I dread, yet I still have much more to learn.
I have found new mentors and good friends throughout this process.
I’ve hosted many private mentoring sessions in person, online, and public classes.
I have Built and designed many online classes, as well as in-person classes.
On the T3Photography side of things, I have:
I have taken some pretty epic photos and videos, which you can view on my social media pages or my photography website, which is www.t3-Photography.com, or my YouTube and Instagram
I've done all sorts of commercial photography, from real estate to photographing craftspeople passionate about what they do and what they make. For those jobs, I shoot videos of them, create things, and photograph their inventory for their websites.
Building and growing my collection of online classes
People often ask me why photography is so important to me. The first reason is my father. I have many fond memories of us going out with our cameras. The other reason is that when people look at my photos and realize the beautiful things existing in nature right around where they live, it causes them to question, “What else am I missing?” and their awareness shifts, and then they start seeking these things out on their own.
The other reason is that I want to show the world the way I view it through my eyes.
Well, that was a long post! I will also attach a video version to the newsletter.
Lastly, thank you so much for your support, whether you donated to my GoFundMe or not or you sent me an email thanking me for the work I do. Or call me to chat. As far as my GoFundMe, I'd like to close out by finishing raising the funds I initially sought. I'm so close! Those funds would be a godsend right now so I can get caught up on rent, and now that I have my advertising privileges back, I can start doing that to draw more students. I would also like to go to the dentist and get my heart checked.
Just as my father jokingly says at the start of the standard class, I know this is my life's work, which is why I work senselessly to try and lead my fellow humans back to our wild roots and teach them how to walk the razor’s edge by living in the modern world but leading a nature-based lifestyle. I will continue to work, trying to teach people a different way to look upon the earth and their own lives, and also teach them skills that will help them to be more self-sufficient and how to have deep, meaningful relationships with the whole of creation.
Much love, thanks, and praises,
T3
Fare The Well Now MY 4-legged companion of 17 Years...
Once upon a time, in a land far away while I was still the Director of the Tracker school, life was bustling with the cacophony of daily demands, and yet, amidst all the chaos, a silent but persistent whisper nudged at the corners of my mind—it was time for a dog!
This wasn't just any old moment for a canine companion to saunter into my life. I was gifted with a six-month-old daughter at home. But who am I to argue with fate? Besides, I had this notion that every child needs a trusty hound as they navigate growing up.
And so, the search began for the perfect four-legged friend. My heart was set on a cattle dog of sorts—Not too big, not too small, brimming with energy, and smarter than many humans I know.
The early years with our newfound companion, whom we affectionately named Cora, were nothing short of a whirlwind. Picture this: a serene barbecue, the aroma of grilled meat wafting through the air, and then suddenly, like a bolt of lightning, Kora makes her grand entrance. With a leap and a bound, she becomes the master of the picnic table, snatching up burgers and hotdogs with the finesse of a seasoned thief.
But our adventures didn't end there, oh no! When the time came for us to bid farewell to the Tracker school and journey to Cincinnati, we encountered yet another twist in our tale. It turns out that Kora possessed a talent for defying gravity—yes, you heard me right—she could leap over a six-foot-tall fence with the grace of a circus acrobat.
Thus, my landlord and brother from another mother, Todd, began the great Fence Escapade. We added 2 feet of Lattice to keep her in. Todd’s dog Rocco was the best dog friend Kora ever had. They had many a good time together. No matter where we went or who we met, they all loved her because she was a once-in-a-lifetime dog.
As I reflect upon those whimsical years with Kora by my side, I can't help but smile at the memories we created together. Ultimately, it wasn't just a dog I gained, but a loyal friend who loved me through all the changes and metamorphosis and whose spirit continues to brighten our days, no matter where our adventures may lead us next. I expect your Last breath any time now. You can chase sticks through the stars with Rocco and her other dog friend, Henry! You helped me through the most challenging time, which I am still half-mired in but steadily making my way out of. If it weren’t for you and your need to walk in the wilds daily, I wouldn’t have captured nearly the number of photos I have! I love you, Kora. I hurt to the very core of my soul. Return to the source my friend.
25% off each of my new five part online classes!
Spring is here, and I am in a good mood. Life is everywhere, and it's wondrous, just as the forest is generous and provides me with fresh, free, leafy green vegetables. Since Nature is bountiful now, it has inspired me to offer a 25% off Sale on ALL the new online classes I have developed! It starts with “Bone Tools and Jewelry Making”-class this Saturday! Then there's Nature Photography and Awareness:The Way of The Caretaker. The discount will be applied at check out. Each class consists of 5 2-hour live Zoom sessions, of which you will get the recording. Since there are gaps between the sessions, each of these online classes will have its own dedicated online space where we can chat and share photos of our work, and I can give out homework (hehe) and upload videos to you in between sessions. I'm very excited about these classes as I've put a lot into them. Hope to see you there!
To find the rest, head to my schedule page. If you still need to see the last email, I have separated my website into two. One website is dedicated to Nature Education, and the other to Photography. If you want to go, check out my new Photography website. Their team manages all of the backend stuff for an insanely low price, taking a huge chunk off my plate and freeing me up to create new classes, take more beautiful photographs, and film some epic scenery! One last thing! The folks from Cascadia Wild and I will host a class here in Sandy in July. I will put all the info on my schedule page later this evening. In the meantime, you should go check out their website. They are an entirely volunteer-run organization that is doing some excellent work. Please go take a look at their website by clicking the link above!

Embracing Adventure: Reflections, Updates, and New Beginnings
Before diving into the latest updates and upcoming events, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the unforgettable experience shared with the remarkable individuals from Les Primitifs group in Quebec. Last week marked a milestone in my teaching journey as we embarked on an extraordinary class that surpassed all expectations. Beginning with three days of warmth and camaraderie around the home fires, we ventured into the wilderness, immersing ourselves in nature with nothing more than essential provisions: a wool blanket, a modest ration of food, and a trusty knife. The resulting journey was life-changing for all involved, as evidenced by the cherished memories captured in the photos accompanying this post. To the incredible members of the Primitives, I extend my deepest gratitude for their presence and contributions, making it a truly spectacular week.
Reflecting on this profound experience, I am reminded that such transformative journeys are accessible to anyone willing to embark on exploration and self-discovery. The camaraderie, challenges, and revelations we shared are not confined to a select few but are open to all who dare to seek them. If you yearn for such enriching experiences, I invite you to join my classes and embark on your journey of discovery. Not only classes, either! I also do photo and video editing remotely, and I am available to shoot photos and videos just about anywhere.
Schedule Updates!
After careful consideration and a significant investment of time and energy in planning and conducting my latest class, I've decided to reschedule not only my three upcoming online five-part courses but also my comprehensive “All-in One” webinar series, which reminds me, for this “round” of my eight-part webinar series, not only do you get the webinars for $200 and recordings, but April Vokey from Anchored Outdoors is throwing in a copy of my Masterclass for FREE as well as free membership to her website all for only $200. Shifting dates ensures that I am thoroughly prepared to deliver high-quality content for these events. While keeping keeping self-care in mind. Class ended almost a week ago, and I'm still tired. That means it was a good class. But I need to remember that self-care is paramount. I have adjusted the dates on my schedule page as to when all the online classes take place.
When it comes to my three new online classes, those being awareness and the way of the caretaker, Nature Photography, and Bone Tool, and Jewelry making I am so excited about them that I am going to offer a sale! From now until each of the classes begins, I am offering 20% off! I'm looking forward to running these classes to teach you valuable skills, but I will learn just as much about building a more robust online education system. Discount will be applied at check out. And remember, if you sign up for my newsletter, there is a code in there as well hint hint. As I've mentioned previously, each class is going to have its own online community space where we can share photos of projects we're working on, ask questions, and I can even get out homework assignments! I will also be uploading videos between webinar sessions.
I've also started offering online preparedness evaluations. Every time I go out to nature and see people who are now woefully under-prepared or visit somebody in the city, I don't see a single gallon jug of water anywhere; this is why I am now offering this new service. You can read more about it here.
While I am immensely grateful for the assistance that my GoFundMe and my Patreon have generated, ultimately, I would MUCH instead earn my money through teaching and Photography! As I contemplate the ongoing support garnered through fundraisers on platforms like GoFundMe and Patreon, I am humbled by the generosity and kindness of the community. A dollar in the box from time to time helps. Especially with my YouTube channel, which I'm trying to grow into a channel with everything from skills to comedy, the art films that I make, and my mini-documentaries. Anyone who edits video knows it takes a long time, so through Support on Patreon or any of my crowdfunding, you can subsidize even more epic content.
Amidst the ebb and flow of life's challenges, I navigate uncharted waters, seeking avenues to sustain and grow my endeavors. In light of this, I am exploring the possibility of welcoming a collaborator with business acumen to join my team. In exchange for their expertise, I offer the invaluable gift of skills instruction with the hope of mutual growth and eventual financial compensation. Together, we can navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship and expand the reach of our shared vision. If this sounds like you, feel free to contact me!
On a personal note, I must acknowledge the physical toll of my relentless pursuit of creating successful, sustainable businesses. Battling chronic Lyme disease, I faced a health scare during the recent class, reminding me of the importance of self-care amidst my ceaseless endeavors. Prioritizing my health and well-being is the main driver behind the schedule change for upcoming classes, ensuring adequate time for preparation and recovery.
In other exciting news, I am thrilled to announce a collaboration with Cascadia Wild, with plans for a class in early June. Collaborating with local groups who share my passion for nature is integral to spreading awareness and fostering stewardship of our environment. I hope to collaborate with more local organizations that get people into nature
As I embark on new endeavors, I must bid farewell to one chapter while welcoming another. With the guidance of wise counsel, I have launched a separate website, t3-photography.com, dedicated solely to my photography. Here, you can explore and purchase prints in various mediums. T-shirts with my photos on them will remain available in “The School Store”, with plans to relocate them to the new website soon
In closing, I extend my deepest gratitude to each of you who has supported me on this journey. Your unwavering belief and encouragement fuel my passion and drive, even amidst the most challenging moments. Despite the physical exhaustion and health setbacks, the rewards of leading others back to nature and assuming our roles as caretakers are immeasurable. With spaces available for private classes, whether online or amidst the serene beauty of Oregon's old-growth forests, I invite you to join me on a journey of transformation and discovery. Together, let us embrace a future filled with nature's wonders, guided by love, gratitude, and a shared commitment to our planet.
With boundless appreciation and anticipation for the adventures ahead,
T3

Thanks for adding these extra special items, April! When someone of your caliber believes in my mission, I know I am on the right track.
It's time for the BIG news on the website, too! I've decided to split my website into two separate platforms. I recommend everything from books to organizations I trust and the tools and gear that allow me to be outside any time of year! I will soon be introducing my brand new website, T3 - Photography.com! As part of the transition, I'm running a special 20% off sale on anything photo-related on my current website and custom prints. The discount will automatically be applied to any photo or clothing-related items in the school store and the print shop of my website. Lastly
I've designed three new multi-session online classes for you to enjoy: Bone Tools and Jewelry Making, Nature Photography, and "Awareness, The Way of the Caretaker, and How to be a Good Human" Each class consists of five 2-hour online sessions with homework assignments and a dedicated online community for sharing our work and ideas. Lastly, here, in Sandy, Oregon, is the epic nature immersion class from March 3rd to the 9th hosted by FutureNature in collaboration with Les Primitifs From Quebec. Three spots are still available, so I highly recommend joining this unforgettable experience if you're in the area. Their school is renowned as one of the premier winter survival schools globally, and I'm thrilled to welcome them and reconnect with old friends. As always, I'm grateful for your continued support on this journey. Let's keep chugging along, slowly but surely making progress together. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and adventures ahead! Eternally thankful, T3

A Night of Revelation
As the rain poured down around us, the crackling flames of the campfire provided a mesmerizing backdrop to our deep conversation. With each raindrop creating a soothing rhythm, my thoughts began to unravel, and clarity emerged.
Amidst the natural symphony, in the company of a good friend, I found myself grappling with questions that had long evaded me. The gentle hiss of the rain and the warmth of the fire seemed to coax out elusive revelations and insights, setting my mind alight with newfound understanding.
In that euphoric moment, as we wove our thoughts and dreams together, the deluge of rain served as a cleansing force, washing away the mental fog that had obscured my path. Amidst the downpour and crackling fire, I found a sense of purpose and clarity, and a perspective that had eluded me for so long.
It was a night of epiphanies, of fresh perspectives, and a rekindling of the soul by the primal elements. As the fire flickered and the rain continued to pour, I emerged from that hallowed space with a renewed spirit and a clearer vision, ready to embrace the journey ahead.

2024 Class Schedule!
They say that faith is the most powerful force in the world. That is why I am still here at 8:15 on a Friday night, frantically putting the final touches on this blog post. It's exhilarating for me as I am announcing my three new. Long-term online classes, the massive price cut to my webinars that I made after I realized compared to others. I was charging a bit high for some of the other things I'm too.
As we step into 2024, it’s a moment to reflect on the journey that has brought us here. Looking back, I am overwhelmed by the growth I see within myself. The wisdom gained from listening to my elders and successful friends has been immeasurable. I can confidently proclaim that I am 100,000,000% wiser than I was on this day last year.
As a photographer, I have the unique ability to revisit the past through my work. This allows me to meditate on the lessons learned, the mistakes made, and the invaluable connections forged. The willingness of new friends to share their knowledge and insights has been a blessing, and I am deeply grateful for their guidance.
The journey of self-improvement and professional growth has been challenging. There were moments when the weight of it all seemed impossible. Yet, I stand here today with unwavering confidence in my ability to see my vision come to life.
2024 marks a new chapter where this wealth of knowledge and experiences will be implemented. It's a year to honor the past's teachings and fearlessly pursue the aspirations cultivated through reflection and resilience. As I work, sometimes I do an archaeological dig of my past. I realized how what can seem like an insignificant choice at the time can alter your life forever.
Let us be the change that we want to see in the world. Even if we wake up and feel like the world is crushing us, We still have the choice. We can get out of bed, suit up, and put a smile on our face, and be grateful to be alive and blessed with every new day
I could research this, but I'm not going to. I once heard a quote that stuck with me, supposedly attributed to Abraham Lincoln, who said, “Most people are as happy as they choose to be.” Combining that with positive manifestation, a heaping teaspoon of faith, 700 cups of hard work, and hopefully a little help from the universe. “if you build it, they will come.”
New Classes!
Where to begin? First off, as I've mentioned several times, the new cost of my webinars is $35 per class. I did some research and realized my rates were high. If you want to purchase all eight at once, also known as the "all-in-one package," it will be $200. Here is a list of all the new classes. They can also be found on my schedule page.

If you ever find yourself lost in the woods and forget the knife you usually carry, you should learn as many ways of creating a sharp edge using natural materials as possible. The art of flint knapping is breaking certain types of rocks that only exist in various pockets around the country into stone knives and arrowheads. You can take some rocks, smash them on the ground, and get an edge to carve a Bowdrill notch, but you'll want something a little more precise eventually. Bone tools can be shaped into anything from the fishhook to spearpoint. That material is animal bone.
Class Dates: all classes begin at 4 PM Pacific and end at 6 PM
4/6/24 Part 1
5/11/24 Part 2
6/8/24 Part 3
6/29/24 Part 4
7/20/24 Part 5
8/5/24 part 6
Throughout this class experience, I will teach you:
How to find animal bones
Processing them in a way to maximizes the amount of tools you can get from a single piece of bone.
Show you how to process and utilize the sinews, which can be used for anything from sewing to making a bowstring, and in the context of this class, how to attach a bone arrowhead to the arrow itself.
I will also teach you how to process evergreen tree sap into what is known as "pitch glue." It makes for fantastic waterproofing
a few tools you will learn to make are spears/arrowheads, needles, and knives, to name a few! Oh, and jewelry as well!
We will create a group chat in WhatsApp or something like that, so they can always contact each other for questions and show off the cool things you're making!

Lastly, I have decided to start offering online preparedness evaluations. I've met too many people who think they're prepared, only to learn they are woefully underprepared.
We will start the process by setting up a time for a Zoom meeting, and I'll ask you to prepare a few things for the meeting. I will assess what sort of emergency supplies your household has. I will then spend some time going over the basics of preparedness.
After our session, I will compile a list of things you should get in the best place to get them from. I will never recommend a product I have not personally put through the ringers. If you're interested in this, please feel free to contact me. Once this storm passes and power is restored. I will be creating a page on my website with more information about this “new service.”
I've got a few other bits to discuss, but I will save that for a YouTube video follow-up. I want to show you some things you will learn during these new classes. Thank you all so much for your guidance through these trying times. Having a community that is so knowledgeable has been incredibly helpful!
Much Gratitude, Love, and Thanks to you all,

I have just returned from teaching a 6-day private Tracking class near Fairbanks, Alaska. This was my third time in Alaska and the furthest North I have ever been.
I have been in many grand wilderness areas, everything from the Pine barrens in New Jersey to the Seven hundred thousand acres surrounding my current home. No matter which forest in the lower 48, no matter how many miles I’ve walked into these areas, I, at least, can still feel the rush and din of society. Most people do not know this, but in the vast majority of the lower 48 states, I could take you, blindfold you, drop you into a patch of woods, and if you have the ability to walk in a straight line for a few miles you will most likely encounter something made by humans. Be it a logging road, a country road, or maybe even a McDonalds! I need to fact-check this, but I believe the farthest you can be from a McDonald’s in the lower 48 is a few dozen miles. Up there, you stand at the top of Ridge and look; as far as I can see, it is nothing but wilderness. Heaven on Earth!
I am starting this blog with these facts because Alaska is completely unlike any patch of woods down here. There are areas so big, and there is nothing but the temples of creation stretching in all directions and the beauty of Nature in its (mostly) Natural state. Most people know that Alaska is a hub of mining, Fossil fuel production, and logging, but the vastness of the North country remains unexplored. When there, I feel it is calling to me., saying, “Come wander the moose trail, learn the properties of some new plant friends and animals to study. This leads me to discuss next year's “Alaskan Wilderness Adventure.” This class will be like no other, with only 8 to 10 spaces. It will be a seven-day experience where we walk into the wilderness with ultralight gear and do some adventuring. Think of it as part educational part, exploration, and part adventure. I will be releasing the dates and a more detailed description very shortly!
Classes!
I am in the process of adding both online and in-person classes, but I'm leaving a lot of space open for people wanting private classes. Contact me! I operate on a Sliding scale if you are interested, so a private class may be less costly than you think. I am also offering group discounts! I am also working on designing your online classes. But these will be more long-term commitments, around four months. There will be one Zoom session a week, I will send out one or two pre-recorded videos, and just when you thought you would never do any again, homework!
Special Collaboration Class!
I have been speaking with my good friend Mathieu Hébert from Les Primitifs, which is a school based in Canada. His website is in French, but I translated it. So, when you click the link, it should be in English. If not, you can use Google Translate. We have been friends for years since we met at Tracker School. Since then, his school has become the premier winter survival school around. The class doesn’t have a title yet, but it will focus on various skills, from awareness and movement to cultivating what I call the “Nature Mind.” The “Nature Mind” is the ability to connect with the landscape and know where to find certain resources you need to maintain your life force in a survival situation. This is a unique class, and only a few spaces will open as he brings some of his Staff members and students. The current dates are March 5th-10th here in the Sandy, Oregon area. I will post the exact dates with a full class description as soon as we discuss a few more details. Stay tuned!
Other Changes!
At some point in the near future, my website will split in two. This website will be solely dedicated to the educational side of my life, and my new website Will be strictly for my Photography, Where you go to purchase prints or custom pieces, and my school store as my clothing collection of Shirts and other items with my photographs on them will live. It will make things less cluttered on this site.
I would also be remiss would also be remiss if I didn't mention my current Go-Fund-Me. My business is still new, and it's only me at the helm. Donations have helped me immensely. I never imagined I would run into so many roadblocks, your donations and sharing my social media posts. Help immensely!

The Ups and Downs of Lymes Disease, Building Businesses, and Crowdfunding
Every day, I ponder where we went wrong as a species. I try to think of ways to make nature and our role in it something people have at the forefront of their minds. I want them to ask, “What can I do today to improve the world?” My dream is a world of Caretakers moving through life and spreading the Peace, Love, Joy, and Purpose we all inherently crave.
Helping people heighten their awareness, changing the way they move through the world, and teaching the ways our ancient hunter-gatherer ancestors used to live in a close relationship with nature is my vision in life. Following my father’s lead, I have taken the torch, But it has not been easy. Between my lack of business knowledge (Thanks to those of you who have been helping me with this skillset), Lack of funding, and near-crippling Lyme Disease, I find myself in a conundrum. What do I do? I am offering a product that is far superior to any other. This is a chance to help me educate people on the joy of a deep connection to Nature. Every day, the fight gets harder for me as my Lymes disease worsens. I ask with everything I have to please donate so I can realize my vision and not have it cause such detrimental effects on my body. Your funding will help me take a breather, reanalyze all aspects of my business, and apply the new skills I learn daily from the group of folks helping me realize my vision. If you can help, here is the link to my Go-Fund-me It can also be found in the “Crowdfunding” Section of my website

Campaign Updates! Classes!, Throwing Stick Raffle Oh My. AND a 10% off Sale!
“I may be Laying in the gutter, but at least I’m looking up at the stars!”-Oscar Wilde.
Before Starting, I wanted to tell you that there is a 10% sale on Everything on my website for the next 2 weeks! Discount applied at checkout!
Hello all! First and foremost, I want to express the utmost gratitude to those of you who have donated to my campaign. When I decided to start FutureNature and T3Photography, I never imagined coming up against so many obstacles. I have made many choices, both good and bad. I have learned so much during this process. I still believe so profoundly in the vision and my path, so much so that I have literally sacrificed everything for it. All my Savings, My health, both Mental and Physical. Im reaching a point where I feel like something has got to give. Social media companies hold me hostage by not allowing my words to reach the right people. Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. Luckily I am a fast learner, and I have so much help from a great group of folks who also believe as I do. Still, I fear as I wait for the classes I have booked to happen so I can pay my bills and keep a roof over my head. With all the work I have done to make the world a better place over the last 23 years, I never imagined at nearly 45 years old, I would be in this position. My heart has become the resting place of my old friend, Lymes disease.
I was told a few years back that I would need a pacemaker one day and maybe a valve replacement for good measure. In September, I am paying out of pocket to go see a cardiologist to see what he says. All I know is that when you have this purposely shut off the irregular heart rhythm alarm on your watch, it's not a good thing! When I am constantly stressed about whether I will make it all work. It makes the problem that much worse. Thankfully after a visit from some good friends and a few conversations, I have learned to tackle things one day at a time. Small bits and trying not to do things from a panic state does me no good at all. In fact, it makes more work in the long run. And this is why I will use part of the money to hire somebody to come one day a week and help me with the back-end stuff. I know my business will be successful. This particular time is rough because of the money use I am owed for classes that I have not written yet in a few months. Once I have those, I will be OK. I'm asking for the amount I am because I want to set aside enough to ensure my bills are covered. I can take the best medicine: rest and recuperate. It's been so long, as a matter of fact, two years since I've had that feeling, and oh, do I miss it. Here is one of my favorite photos of my life. This Spotted Seal. I took this two years and four days ago. My last vacation.
If you can contribute financially, I will be eternally grateful. If you cannot, I am looking for help and all sorts of areas from the business side of madness. I want to learn how to better market my, Online Classes, T-shirts, and photos to a broader audience. And really get the word out about my private "catered" classes for individuals, families, and friend groups. I operate on a sliding scale, and it's not as expensive as you would think, so contact me for details about that.
Also, due to my social media limbo, if you see a post of mine, please share it because that will help me break out of the algorithm prison. Hey, that's actually a good name for a band. But I digress. Remember that I am fighting for the future generations of all beings that share spaceship Earth with us and trying to re-educate humans to learn how to live in harmony instead of just killing each other and using the Earth as something that will provide us with endless resources and also take care of all of our waste for us. There is a better way to live, and that is the way of the caretaker.
Thank you all so much,
T3
Oh, Help Me Oh-Who-Know-Nature. You're My Only Hope!
08/09/2023
Fear. I must not Fear. I was afraid the last time I did a crowdfunding campaign; this time, I am Filled with hope. Despite falling short of my goal in our last fundraiser, FutureNature/T3Photography remains committed to making the best use of the funds I did raise. I believe in transparency and accountability, and I want to take a moment to update everyone on how I utilized the resources I got from my first go-round.
Through my first campaign, I met folks who booked classes everywhere, from Alaska to Tennessee. I am thrilled to have connected with individuals passionate about exploring the beauty of the natural world and empowering them with the skills needed to become that one with nature and a true caretaker.
I find myself in a bit of a conundrum. Even though I have classes booked, I can't collect the money until I run them, and I will be out of funds before that happens. That's the nature of the beast of being an outdoor educator. You can't collect all the funds at once in case people need to cancel, so I only ask for a deposit upfront, with the rest due upon class completion. I didn't expect to have this many difficulties. A big thorn in my side is last June's social media hack. Because of that, I am banned from running ads, and I have yet to figure out how to regain my privileges. Thank you all for considering donating. Your funds will not be wasted. I believe deeply in what I do, and I've been working so hard that it's harming my health due to my chronic Lymes. I would be just as exhausted, even if I didn't have it. I am one person trying to run two businesses, and my goal is to make a better world and a brighter future for all beings and the Earth.
Much Love, Thanks, and Praises,
T3

There is a vast ocean between being alone and loneliness. I have been very lonely lately as I struggle to build my businesses. That all changed when one of my best friends in the whole world randomly showed up for a visit.
Yesterday we sat down and filmed this short video.
To all of you who think you know what I am or I'm not doing, I wish you the best of luck. Call me instead of spreading gossip and rumors, and we can discuss it. Otherwise, if you have nothing positive to say, Don’t try and drag me down.
Much love, Thanks, and praises to you all,
